I have been a Learning and Development executive in the self-storage industry for almost 12 years. I have known Hal Moore for almost ten years and have watched him take his concepts about learning and creativity from small local meetings at Storage USA to full blown seminars and workshops for several self-storage trade associations across the county in that time. At Sentry-Self-Storage, Hal has worked with us to develop a workshop called Recipes for Success – part sales rally, part selling skills workshop and part cooking show. This meeting format has been great fun and a great success for all involved. In October of 2006 we asked Moore Creative Concepts to design and develop training materials for our INSOMNIAC™ 900 kiosk. We brought Hal to Phoenix for a couple of days and he spent several hours with our technical, customer service and marketing teams putting together a program that was customized for a specific self-storage company. We as well as our self storage customer were very satisfied with the training program . The quality of Hal’s work allowed us to demonstrate to our customer that we were 100% dedicated to making sure that property managers and other personnel fully understood the technical and operational benefits of our INSOMNIAC 900 kiosk. We are very much looking forward to having Hal and his team work on future projects for us.
